DONNA KARAN NEW YORK | SLEEP & LOUNGEWEAR | 2026
For Fall 2026, I contributed to the development of a proposed Donna Karan sleepwear collection,
exploring a more refined and sophisticated design language distinct from my work for DKNY. My role included concept and sketch development, with an emphasis on elevated silhouettes, proportion, fabrication, and the understated femininity associated with the Donna Karan customer. Alongside the creative development, I worked closely on the technical execution of knit garments, creating detailed specifications and construction callouts to communicate fit, measurements, and design intent.
While the Fall 2026 collection ultimately did not move forward to production following buyer review, the project demonstrates both sides of my design approach: developing a distinct visual identity for a brand while understanding the technical precision required to execute the product.
